My work revolves around the expression of the hand. I make animations, children’s illustrations, paintings and drawings using mixed media. I admire the trace of the hand, a tactile, primal, human touch singing about life and feeling alive in art as opposed to purely computerized images. Storytelling, life’s journey, questions about what makes us fully human and seeing different facets of our humanness inspire me. Imagination is at the heart of all my artistic endeavour.
