Andi Russell is a self-employed artist living in the Southwest United States. She studied at Milan Art Institute and has been featured at several galleries across the Southwest. Incorporating a variety of media such as inks, spray paint, collage, acrylics, and oils, she creates contemplative paintings that invite the viewer to go within. Common themes of her work include animals, self development, mental health, and consciousness.
In the artist's words: "I use art to express feelings and thoughts that might be too big or too subtle to put into words. Sometimes I start out not knowing what the piece will be, but the process pulls out whatever insights I need to hear or express in that moment. I like to use bright or bold color palettes that defy reality, and animals that are unusual, colorful, or quirky in some way...like me!"
