Jan Brandt is an artist working in printmaking, painting, fiber art, and mixed media. She holds a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Illinois State University. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including Italy and Cuba, and nationally including New York City, Chicago and suburbs, San Francisco, Oberlin, Ohio, Indianapolis, Springfield, IL as well as Central Illinois, including Champaign-Urbana and Bloomington, her hometown. She has been published in print and online, including Create! Magazine, Poets and Artists, The New Feminists Issue, The Dialogist, UPPERCASE, Creative Quarterly, The Journal of Design and Art, American Art Collector, and Studio Visit.
