Flowers and sunsets are my inspiration. I never tire of the beauty and variety of these two subjects. The delicate beauty of a flower draws me in and the powerful feeling I get from a sunset keeps me going. Therefore it was inevitable for me to become a botanical artist and a student of sunsets.
 My favorite medium is pencil because I like the way it feels on the paper. I also enjoy pen and ink, watercolor, and colored pencil. I attended the Ringling School of Art and Design Contining Studies and Special Programs Division for two years. I studied under Olivia Braida in a program based on the Old French Court Style in botanical arts.
 Although I have lived in many places, I am a native Floridian.
