I am a fine artist living in Portland Oregon.

My work always begins with a concept. Medium is less important to me than an authentically expressed visual experience. My work attempts to honestly express my thoughts, feelings, fears, passions, etc about my life experience. An important part of my creative process is recognizing that art is a collaboration between the creator and the person experiencing the art. My strategy is to leave space for that collaboration so that the viewer of my work can feel like a participant by filling in blanks with their own life experience. I attempt to present a scene to the viewer that forces them to learn something about themself based on their personal interpretation of it.
