こんにちは! Hello Everyone! I am an American who grew up in the rolling hills of Wisconsin, currently living in the volcano country of southern Kyushu, Japan. I have always enjoyed nature and living in Japan has only strengthened this curiosity. In fact, I often admire the beautiful volcano Sakurajima that can been seen from my apartment window. Instead of cloud watching I find images in the ash clouds as the sky turns from bright blue to a magenta purple glow.

I am drawn to nature’s effortless patterns and organic, abstract shapes which I try to incorporate into my art. The human connection with nature is fascinating and is a key component in my designs. After all, we are all part of the greater whole in nature. This curiosity drives my enjoyment of creating art of various mediums including sketches and watercolor.

But most importantly, I just want to make beautiful things.
