I began creating acrylic pour paintings since 2018. I started selling them as a medical fundraiser to for costs not covered by my insurance for post chemo care. So I am expanding into whatever avenues I can to help pay towards those costs. I am not a professional artist and work on paintings as a hobby and stress relief as I work in the healthcare field and a former first responder. Unfortunately after cancer caused osteoporosis and having caused multiple spinal fractures, I am unable to work on an ambulance anymore but I still work in healthcare.
I periodically post my paintings that are available for sale on Facebook and my Instagram. The paintings are made via various techniques known as flip cup, dip technique, dirty pour, some swipe and chain pull techniques. I am most known for my beach scenes and they are my most requested paintings. All funds raised from those paintings go into a medical account for infusions which cost $1,300, two to three times a year.
