Jennifer Thomas-Menkhaus is a mixed media artist living and working in Southern California. She currently resides in San Marcos, California. Living in Southern California has been very inspiring for Jennifer and her love of this environment has allowed her to take her artistic skills to new levels. Although she spends a good amount of time with commissioned oil-painted portraits, Jennifer still finds time to explore her own unique style.
  Jennifer’s artwork, no matter what the medium, is an amalgamation of precision and formulation. Her canvases contain layer upon layer of dynamic colors.  All of Jennifer’s art work reflects her remarkable ability to observe life, and combine it with elements of rhythm, balance and movement. She uses a wonderful combination of tradition and modern freedom to explore and create art that is one of a kind. Her blending of colors is beautiful and pleasing to the eye. The work reveals its complexities, when viewed closely. Jennifer’s art is a reflection of the complexities that reside within herself. She is passionate and creates each art work inspired by her own personal journey, and that of her internal desires and dreams of a beautiful world.
