Painting has always been an outlet for me. I battle and have battled with anxiety for over a decade of my life. I find painting to be a positive release; focusing on my canvas, my color palette, and just being in the moment. The strokes of the paintbrush to the canvas for hours on end brings me such high satisfaction and release.

My pieces are abstract, and different variations of sunsets. The sunset symbolizes the completion of a day's work and shows the passage of time. As the sun sets, it is time to end the day and take a break. The awesome beauty of the setting sun is also symbolic of the beauty and mystery of life itself. As the sun sets, light fades, which is symbolic of the forces of darkness.

A bit about myself; Art has been in my life since I was a little girl, and I have been painting for over a decade. Mediums include Oil and Acrylic. Graphic Design Graduate from AINYC Class of 2008, 3.8 GPA.
