Jessica Gould

As a child, Jessica has always been drawn to the intricate details of the objects that surround her and found the beauty within them. This all began when she visited the beach at the age of five where she fell in love with the seashells and could not put her disposable camera down. What first began as a hobby became her passion. Jessica views herself not just as a photographer, but as a visual story teller. Her photography affords her a venue to express how she feels and visualizes the world around her. Every picture she takes has a story behind it

Jessica received her associates degree in photography from the Fashion Institute of Technology in May 2016 and is currently enrolled in their BFA program and will graduate in May 2018. Over the past few years Jessica has had her work featured in an abundant of art shows. For three consecutive years, her photographs were featured in The Friends of the Library show at the Plainview-Old Bethpage Library. She won an award for her excellence in art. Her photographs were displayed in both the Second-Year Fashion Institute of Technology AAS show as well as the Third-Year Fashion Institute of Technology BFA show.
