Renate Dollinger

Renate Dollinger is a well-known Jewish expressionist artist known affectionately as "Grandma Moses of the shtetl" for her work bringing the old world back to life. She paints mainly in acrylic and oil but has also done a considerable amount of work in watercolor, gouache, and hand-tinted etchings. Renate has exhibited widely in the Bay Area and is represented in many private collections throughout the country. While her work is moderately well known, she strongly believes that art should be affordable and accessible to all.
