I am a stay at home Mum with two beautiful daughters and a bicycle mad husband. I live in Newtownards at the top of Strangford Lough in Northern Ireland, but was born and bred about 30 miles south of here in a sleepy fishing village called Ardglass. I have always loved art and craft but never really had the time to focus on it. In fact I studied maths and phyics to PhD level ... talk about opposites! Now my girls are a little older I am taking the time to focus on my watercolour skills. I gravitate to painting animals / wildlife as I love the challenge of capturing their movement and character with the delicate watercolours enhanced by pen. I have a permanent ink fountain pen which is a joy to use and I am constantly delighted with the effects you can achieve combining a water soluble pen with watercolours. I am slowly building a large portfolio of watercolour paintings that I am proud of and what better way to celebrate this than sharing them on the great products from Society6 ... I have to own up to being my own first customer. I couldn’t believe how cute ‘Peek-a-boo Hare’ looked on the phone cases so I’ve ordered one for myself 😂
