Hello, I am an artist and surface pattern designer from the UK.
My work is heavily influenced by nature, especially florals. I always have a beautiful bunch of flowers in the house and I love to draw inspiration from them, they work their way in to my pattern designs and live forever in them. My floral designs are derived both from direct observation as well as from my imagination. Most of my work starts as a hand rendered design on paper, most often working with pen and water colour, i then upload it to my mac and work on the illustrations further, colouring, layering, and creating a seamless repeating pattern or a spot illustration. I am drawn to colours and patterns that evoke a feeling of joy and peace. I hope that resonates with you too.
