Hi. Thanks for looking! I'm an amateur/semi-pro photographer who has won 2 National photography awards & a number of awards from Viewbug (https://www.viewbug.com/member/jmhunter).

I am an urban explorer who loves to research the history of places I'm about to travel to (I'm a trainer by day, traveling the US/other countries). My favorite places to photograph are abandoned (mental) hospitals, schools, cemeteries, & factories. If it's old & dilapidated, I want to take a picture of it!

I also like experimenting with light painting (as my profile picture shows).

I want to add all my pictures are NOT manipulated in any way using photoshop or software program(s). I will manipulate the picture only to (1) change a color picture to black/white, (2) crop the picture or (3) play with light/contrast (no other filters). The picture is EXACTLY the way I took it with no manipulations or additives. I'm a purist by nature. There's a place for filters and outrageous corrections. But I feel that's cheating. But that's just me.
