Karen is a multi-faceted artist with an exquisite eye for beauty and a natural sense of design. Over the past 30 years she has created a deep and wide portfolio of photographs, watercolor paintings, drawings collages and blends of different media in a unique style that captures the imagination and touches the hearts of her viewers. Her work often provides a deep connection between art and soul.

In the 80’s she hand-painted clothing using Asian brush painting techniques and she now designs and sells scarves, yoga pants and other garments with her designs, as well as table décor.

Having been a writer on the side for the past 30 years, Karen decided it was time to take some of her short stories out of hiding and begin the process of illustrating them. Karen has written and performed her poetry and songs, written a few plays, and has published many articles in local and regional art and business journals.

Karen been awarded high acknowledgements in local, regional, national and international art shows, including exhibits the US Embassy in Taiwan, and permanent installations in hospitals, hotels, and corporate offices.
