Kari Dana

I grew up living in Missoula, Montana and was taught to paint by my mother and PBS. I was a quiet kid, I never liked to talk so art became my outlet. My focus is in drawing and painting especially oil painting. I want my art to express the feelings I often feel I have no words for. Each canvas or page tells a story in silent color. I want my art to be a map of my growth as an artist, as woman, as a daughter, as a survivor and overall as a human.
