Kate Hughes is a self-taught contemporary embroidery artist creating keepsake pieces of art from treasured photos, hand stitching in a signature hyper-realistic yet impressionist style. After graduating from Arizona State University with a BA in Communications + Small Business, she craved a creative outlet. She discovered her passion for embroidery and went on to launch Kate Hughes Art in 2015. She creates original works, collaborates with clients and teaches embroidery workshops in Phoenix, Arizona.
