Kim Langtry is a mixed media Artist. She lives in south Florida with her family and a menagerie of pets saved from the streets and shelters. She has always created art throughout her life making crafty gifts, doing hair, painting, drawing, crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She has always said, “My purpose is to capture the beauty of life and share it with others to enjoy.” That process has evolved over the years, but the principle has never changed. She creates works that spark happiness, peacefulness and beautiful living that evokes pleasure in the little details of life. Mediums used most recently to create her works include; acrylic paints, inks, watercolor, and oil pastels. She also enjoys incorporating handmade papers when collaging. She has had the privilege to show and sell her artwork since 1987.
