Folk-Pop artist Kristen Englenz is a misfit renaissance woman based in East Nashville. She's a classically trained pianist, french hornist, guitarist, bird caller, and visual artist. She has an online web series entitled Caterwauling With Kristen in which each episode features a specific bird and the sounds they make. Englenz graduated UNC Asheville with a BFA in 2008. She currently specialized in bird drawings/painting, and other portraits.
