Kat Bifulco Fine Art and Photography

Kat was drawing before she could write. She could do realistic images at the age of 10. The work she consistently creates now, using vine cahrcoal, are images of female iconography, drawings of bobby pins, and womens’ torsos in corsets. As an artist she has always relied on her unique vision to engage the onlooker. She has also been simultaneously photographing what catches her ‘eye’.

As an extension of her talent she applied her experience as an artist to graphic design and art direction. Before leaving the East Coast to come to California, he was the Director of Design at Guild Hall in East Hampton, a nonprofit museum, theater, and eduction facility.

During the Covid lock down, Kat walked the different neighborhoods of San Diego to discover more of her new city. Photographing what caught her eye became her passion and a safe way to keep active during the isolation of the Pandemic. Capturing the unique qualities of a neighborhood in shadows, textures, nature, the specialness of So Cal homes, street art, and a long list of lovely and unusual images.

In addition, some of the photos shown, are from a port town on Long Island, and her favorite city in her drive across country, to land in the heart of San Diego. Kat shares her art now in hopes that people enjoy this new journey she’s on.
