This Houston-based artist evokes emotions through a style which combines impressionism with abstraction. She also often combines her poetry or quotes from her essays and short stories. Whether through abstract or figurative painting, or the use of multimedia and collage, most of her art focuses on the interplay of color and texture. Her passion is to take bits and pieces of brokenness and create something beautiful and new. While most of her work is with acrylics, one never knows what else might end up in a piece.
