My name is Carina and I am from Sweden. I started drawing as a child and painted paintings in her teens first with pencil, then charcoal, then oil and now acrylic. Painting and drawing is a natural part of me that allows me to breathe and feel alive.

I draw inspiration from nature - usually flowers and occasionally small insects such as beetles and I love to paint close-up motifs such as a large flower that fills the entire painting (macro and micro), but also abstract motifs with few colors.

In addition to painting and drawing, I have been running my app RekoKollen and my Swedish chemical service KemikalieKollen for a few years now. These services are for consumers who want to find products without a lot of industrially designed chemicals and who want to gain knowledge about how chemicals that are approved as organic and natural are manufactured.
