I have always been artistically inspired by my surroundings. From the Oceans and Wildlife of South Florida, to my Horses and Forests of the North Carolina mountains. Sometimes this is expressed through my photography, while other times it’s in the décor and designs created to capture the feel of a place I love.

The diversity of life, cultures and landscapes have always fascinated me and traveling the world has only increased this need to create and share.

My goal is to evoke feelings or memories in others that bring a smile or a moment of reflection.….To bring my heart to you so your surroundings can nurture and inspire you.

This new chapter started with my move to Malta 2 years ago and the creation of SelfCreatingLife.com and ComeVa Lana.com. My experiences are growing with my latest move to Capri, Italy. An abundance of ideas are constantly running around my head……so much so that it’s been hard to find a starting point.
