Laure has a B.A. and M.A, in art from San Diego State University. She has a California teaching credential and taught high school art in Poway, CA for 16 years. She left teaching to sell her work wholesale to galleries by participating in the American Craft Council shows and the Buyers Market of American Crafts. Laure has also licensed her designs to many companies for use on products such as dinnerware, gift bags, wall paper and even a paint by number learn to paint kit! Laure’s philosophy of art would be do what you love and try as many things as possible! She often says “I don’t know what drives me to create but I do know that I am happiest when creating something! Creating is as much a part of me as breathing!”
