Lauren St John (New York, 1991) received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Painting in the spring of 2014 from the Savannah College of Art and Design. St John works predominately with oil and acrylic paint on canvas. Through abstract expressionism she investigates the human experience and constant metamorphosis people go through in life. Currently, St John is living and working in Savannah, Georgia. Statement

Through abstract expressionism that focuses on movement, texture and color relationship, I am exploring the human condition. My work continues to evolve the same way people do. The extreme joys, traumas, highs and lows that I see those around me live through fuels my work.
