Learning to be still and present as I create. In the summer of 2016 I heard that I needed to paint. I thought I was crazy as I remember failing art class in grade school and I knew I should never try it again. Thanks to a supportive friend I began putting paint to paper, canvas, wood and cardboard. I love the feeling of paint on my hands. I love to tune the world out and paint intuitively. In the spring of 2017 I felt the need to draw faces. One day I will merge the drawing and the painting and see what comes out.
