I have always liked photography but never really got into taking photos until the year 2000 which was just before the digital boom hit. I took a photography class at the local college and learned how to develop b&w film and make prints which I enjoyed. I just owned a little 35 mm Olympus Stylus camera at that time. Then when digital became popular I received a small Sony 3MP p&s and I was hooked. I was taking pictures all the time of just about any and every thing. My next camera was a Sony DSC-H1 5MP p&s with a 12x zoom which I really loved. I loved the big zoom on it. I got a lot of use out that camera. Then I finally stepped up and got a DSLR Canon EOS Rebel XS which I really love using. I bought a Sigma 18-250 lens to use with it which works really well for me but I would also love to get a macro lens.
