Lipstick and Vinyls was born in 2017 in a studio apartment in San Francisco. It was inspired by the New York Times Bestseller, #GIRLBOSS by Sophia Amoruso who is the founder of Nasty Gal and the inspiration for the Netflix series Girlboss. As a transplant to the city, navigating the unique experiences of high rent, do or die rental markets, and 400 square foot apartments was a novel experience. As a womyn who is passionate about design, art, culture, and adventure, Lipstick and Vinyls is a creative outlet to share my love of the city. My hope is to minimize the frustrations and stigma that comes along with living in San Francisco and create an enjoyable experience in this magical urban community. Veni Vidi Amavi.
