Lizzy Arden is a Visual Artist in San Diego, CA. She works in both analog and digital medias to create a juxtaposed effect in her work. Her inspiration comes from her love for vintage looks, sleek modern elements, bold colors schemes, and hand drawn elements. She is passionate about typography and has published her own limited edition artist books multiple times over the past 6 years. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is in many public and private collections.
Her educational background emphasized learning digital art as well as analog processes. This has led to a deep understanding of printing/construction processes, photography, color theory, and design concept. She received her MFA in Book Arts + Printmaking from the University of the Arts (2019) in Philadelphia, PA. She grew up in San Diego, CA and began working with print while studying for her BA with emphasis in Painting and Printmaking at San Diego State University (2016)
