Lougarza

Luis Garza was born in Monterrey, Mexico, spent his first years in Washington DC and returned to Mexico until adolescence. Lou started making ceramic sculpture at the early age of 16 years where he had as teacher the ceramist Gerardo Azcunaga. Luis studied architecture at the TEC DE MONTERREY, doing some extra semesters of architecture at Aalborg, Denmark. He has a master’s degree in arts with an emphasis in visual arts at the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon. He is a full-time sculptor, designer in architecture, industrial design and art and researcher in the fields of education and visual arts.
