passion in color -- fine art infused Artist Statement: Katie is a prolific contemporary artist who finds inspiration from those moments in life that leave us breathless - whether it be from a person, a place, or a memory. These are passionately reflected in her unique pieces through textures and layers of vibrant colors providing an emotional experience for the viewer. Katie’s mediums of choice are acrylic paint and found objects in nature. Katie is a Member of both the Crooked Tree Arts Center in Traverse City, Michigan, and the Village of Fine Arts Association in Milford, Michigan and is currently accepting commissions.
