Bio/Information

Lynne is an international artist currently working and living between New York City and Berlin, Germany. Raised in Queens, New York she attended the NYC public school system. As a magnet program for dance the experience at Benjamin Cardozo High School had a great impact on the future direction of her work. Lynne received a Bachelor degree in fine arts from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts, a Master degree in art and art education from Teachers College Columbia University, and a Master degree in studio art through New York University, which took place in New York City, Venice, Italy and commenced in Berlin, Germany. Post-graduation she obtained a summer certificate through the MFA Program at the Transart Institute, Plymouth University, UK in Berlin, Germany. Lynne is in her final year of a PhD program in the philosophy of aesthetics and art theory at the Institute for Doctoral Studies in the Visual Arts based in Portland, Maine, with program locations and topological studies taking place in Tuscany, Italy, Berlin, Germany, Paris, France, Istanbul, Turkey and New York City.

She has won fellowships in the arts in New York for drawing through the National Gallery Art and Museum School, in Venice, Italy for printmaking and most recently for a film project based in Berlin through the Berlin Collective and kulturspace.

Lynne has held positions as a fine artist, art educator, professor as well as administrator and community worker. At the NYCTS Lynne creates arts based curriculum as well as video and film projects. Lynne covers all events as a photographer and videographer as well as program participant. She has taught art and art education in public schools in New York City as well as Kean College and William Paterson University located in New Jersey.

Her artwork, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, film and video has been exhibited in New York, NY, Venice, Italy, Berlin, Germany and L’Isle D’Abeau France.
