Hello, my name is Alyssa Unrau, but my good friends call me lyssie!

I am a mixed media artist. I love working with different mediums such as watercolor, gouache, oil pastels and ink. I have been sketching and painting for fun since I was a kid, but am finally getting the courage to start my art career!

I have a zest for life, always looking to try new things and have new experiences. My favorite elective course in college was "Strange Science" where we learned some quantum physics. I completed my 200HR Yoga Teacher Training back in 2017, and Christmas 2021 I got my first instrument - a Ukulele.

Although COVID has halted many of our lives, I love to travel! A mother daughter trip to Hawaii is next on my bucket list. I have previously backpacked Europe (twice), vacationed in a few hot spots in South America and LOVED my time in Japan. My husband and I also love backcountry camping on the trails in our home province --- Ontario Canada.

Future Goals: move to a small town community with my husband and cats, grow my own food and sell my art!
