I have a degree in cinematography and worked as an independent filmmaker for many years. Now I live in the Pacific Northwest where I am inspired daily to capture the essence of this magical place, with photography, watercolor painting, and writing. I love travel because it gives you fresh eyes - even travel to a nearby trail. I lived in Germany with my family in 2019, just before the pandemic. Living abroad gives you "fresh" eyes and I found the experience rekindled my love of the visual arts, and it was then that I begain taking up the camera with still photographs.
