MarbledRoom

Turkish marbling artist. Turned my semi-finished laundry room into a marbling studio and don’t regret it! In Turkish we use the word ‘‘ebru’’ for paper marbling which is a Farsi word that means cloudly, cloudlike. My canvas is water in a tray. The spontaneity that water gives my work is what makes every one of my art pieces unique. The colors I use in my original patterns are oxide and organic pigment paints. I use horse hair brushes and create my patterns mostly with nothing but brush strokes. I create color variations of my pieces with digital touches. By nature none of the two original ebru pieces can be the same.
