MarconiNK™ is based in Atlanta, GA. Conceptually started in late 2019, MarconiNK™ didn't become a reality until I found this website. I never knew where to start and how to begin the journey of selling my art, and I'm glad I found it!
Before MarconiNK™; I, Michael have been interested in the arts since my youth as a 6 year old. I didn't start using digital media as a means to express my vision until I was in middle school. But I never truly explored what I could do until early 2018.
I was originally in a Fine, Visual, and Performing Arts program in HighSchool until the board I assume; decided to shut it down and replace it with Banking and Finance. But before that time, I was an over achiever in my art classes and received an award for excellence in the art class that I did have. Only to never be given another art class again.
Fast forward I now hold a steady job within the government, but I haven't stopped my practice. I am currently studying under the Digital Illustration Specialist Certification at Atlanta Technical College due to graduate 2021/2022 depending on the courses being completed at which time.
During the first half of my course I was inspired too seek outlets to get my art available to the public and make commission off the art I create. Hence, MarconiNK™. The name is a play off my last name Marconi, and its also a way I pay respect to my father Michael James Marconi whom passed back in 1996.
My dad was also an artist and after seeing his own art work, I was inspired or driven to be as good as he was. With that said, thank you for visiting my store and any purchases you have made.
