Marie de Beaucourt is an illustrator from Paris. She graduated from Central Saint Martins in London. She has worked for clients such as Hermès, Fragonard and Gilles & Boissier for whom she designed among other things the rugs of the Mandarin Oriental Ritz in Madrid.

The main body of her portfolio captures the natural world. Delicate portraits, botanical and animal illustrations mix elements of decorative art with a detailed realism. Her practice is inspired by intricate Medieval friezes and the faded colours of Renaissance frescoes, giving her work a poetic patina.
