Born in Armenia, having family roots in Georgia, have lived some time as a teenager with parents in Africa and Latin America, therefore have a feeling of being a Cosmopolitan. Currently live in New York city. Started to draw when was 16 mostly by color pencils and watercolor. Did not study or have any courses of painting or photography. Started to paint after 37 years of break caused by different obstacles of life. Also was driven to photography very much. Love to photograph, especially historical monuments and nature. Being also an environmentalist helps to better understand the nature. Nature is my inspiration! Trees and plants, especially beautiful flowers. I feel that by painting and photographing we can help nature to keep its beauty and savagery.
