I am Martelle Hunt, an Australian artist living abroad. I work in a variety of mediums and different disciplines. Some of my favourites are embroidery and watercolour. Most recently I have been making flowers from sugar paste and photographing them. I am inspired by the world around me and the moment I am in. My muse of late has been the beautiful south of France where I found myself at the beginning of the global pandemic. This was a very creatively charged time for me.
