Mary Short

Mary D. Short paints with a song of colors: experimental, rich, visceral and always surprising. Her creative decisions are determined within the solar plexus. Each piece reads its mystery, its mood, its story- using ink, acrylic, watercolor, copious water for rotation/dipping, and isopropyl on Yupo. Mary’s first art lessons were at Chouinard Art School in Los Angeles when she was a child. Now her studio is near the mountains and rivers of Canada.
