Hi there, I'm Jules, an artist from the beautiful little island state of Tasmania, just south of mainland Australia.

I find my inspirations for my Mermaid art through daily observations and emotions. Sometimes the art pieces are very personal, other times they are created through admiration for someone I have met, or have been listening to.

I focus my artwork around a Curvy Redheaded mermaid.

My reason for this is that I believe Redheads are rare quirky souls, and a body without curves is like an ocean without waves ;) ...A calm flat ocean is still beautiful and just as majestic, but how exciting, unpredictable and beautiful is a bouncy ocean also! :)

My dream is to travel overseas in a few years creating art along the way, but until then, I will sit at my table in the evenings, in my little weatherboard home near the sea, with two crazy teens, a cheeky Border Collie called Ebony, and a mischievous cat called Johnny Rotten, and paint with passion to the beats of my favourite tunes, and share it with you in the hope that I make you smile. *I love the thought of doing my own little to save the ocean, so my focus will be on my travel mugs, and tote bags (which will be available soon)....each month I will be changing my designs, so that if you like what i do, you know when you purchase, there will only be a limited amount of people in the world with the same thing as you!
