Mindy S. Katz is a mixed media artist and map designer creating out of her unique art and healing studio in Paoli, True North Studio Central. Mindy creatively blends her diverse skills acquired over ten years in paint, twenty years in cartography and graphic art, and a lifetime of sketching with natural eye for harmony and affinity for the whimsical. She draws her inspiration from nature, the earth, trees, crystals, and and a connection to body mind and spirit.

Mindy is a nature explorer, a bird watcher, a kid/dog/cats/fish mom, a book addict, a tree spirit guide, a shell collector, a history and historic architecture dreamer.

When she is not painting or designing, Mindy is also a fitness coach, martial artist and a crystal energy healer. Her expressive art reflects her eclectic lifestyle and seeks to connect with her audience on a deep imaginative level. Mindy paints intuitively and designs with vision, providing a visual experience that is “familiar yet different.”

Mindy has a degree in Geography and a professional background in Cartography/Map Design. She has studied and mentored under several successful mixed media artists and is continually expanding her skills and influence with extended classes. Mindy also has a certification in Psychology of Color Therapy. She is a certified Fitness Instructor, certified Pre Post Natal Fitness Coach, and certified Cardio KickBoxing Instructor. And in addition to all of this, Mindy is a certified Crystal Energy Healer through the Hibiscus Moon Academy and provides an holistic approach to energy wellness with crystal sessions, custom chakra sets and workshops in her loft studio. Mindy is always expanding her knowledge and skills through advanced crystal courses like ‘Sacred Geometry’ and ‘Crystal Formations’ as well as continuing her own energy hygiene with regular shaman healing appointments and therapeutic art sessions.

Mindy’s art has been seen in local design shops, coffee houses, and art and music festivals.

She provides unique theme maps and custom commemorative and gift maps to fit any decor.

She’s also available for commissioned mixed media art and small group workshops.
