Funny art chick. Loudmouth writer. Changer of the world.
Based in Southern California, Monica Cable is a writer by birth and an artist by mental health decree. She uses her art and humor as a way to navigate the world around her and make connections that inspire growth.
Favorite mediums include watercolor for its wistful and ethereal qualities and oil pastels for the beautiful and therapeutic effects of blending. She likes to incorporate humor into her art since life, even at its worst, rarely comes without comedy.
Her artistic inspirations range from Georges Seurat to 60s mod and she enjoys doing pieces based on her favorite characters and stories. She’s currently learning to draw cartoons and hoping to incorporate this type of art into motivational, self-care and mental health inspired art.
Other interests of Monica’s include writing, tarot reading and bullet journaling. She has published one non-fiction satire titled “If You Were an Alien, Would You Want to Live Here: an Alien Hypothesis” and is currently pitching her new horror novel.
Cool. Cool Cool Cool.
