I’m Ida Benjaminsson – a 27 years old illustrator from the vast forests of Sweden. I’ve been a big consumer of art supplies since the day I had the ability to hold a pencil. My art is, and has always been, a way to express my vivid imagination. I love vibrant colours, nature, animals, fantasy… versatility! In my work you’ll often see rich contrasts between light and shadow, smooth colour transitions and a lot of detail.

Creating art is something that I’m simply hardwired to do: it is an instinct and an internal need that I’ve always felt. If I were to lose my ability to create, I would be losing my answer to the question: “Who am I?”
