Illustrator in the field of edition for almost 20 years, I create imaginary worlds.  Inspired by words and feelings that are entrusted to me, I give life to all kinds of stories.  I explore matter, texture, color and nature.  That is what I know how to do, what I love doing..

From my bubble, I observe people's hearts.  I reinvent the world on a sheet of paper, adding my own colors.  I sound the universe of the little as well as the grown up and I still have pleasure doing it, after all this time!

Originating from Saguenay, I studied graphism in Quebec City.  One thing leading to another, I turned in the direction of illustration, a practice that looks more like me.  The edition for children takes the major part of my life and colours my own creations...in spite of myself.

In the art of painting, I have been developing a personal touch, floating between dream and reality.  I keep a balance between the childhood dreams and the sometimes obscure sensitivity of adults. Poetical abstraction offers me freedom in creation and some exhilarating vertigo.  To get closer to my own self, in each move, each word, that is what I am longing to do...

I now live on the south shore of Quebec City, between river and mountains.
