Kristin Link is an illustrator and artist inspired by the natural world and based in rural McCarthy, Alaska, surrounded by the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. She wants to make beautiful work that connects people to nature and reminds them of the feeling of discovering a new orchid or seeing the detail in a snowflake up close. She uses her training as a science illustrator and a naturalist to portray accurate detail but also shows the hand of the artist in her work. When not out sketching, adventuring, and teaching, Kristin lives and makes work in an off-the-grid cabin with her partner and her dog.
