Hey, I’m Matt. I am an Architect and Designer. I live and work in Brisbane, Australia. I love all things Architecture & design; creativity, sketching, form, function resolving complex problems and most of all providing beautifully designed outcomes for my clients. My artwork reflects these passions, I love simple, clean, slick modern solutions. Mid-century Architects of the modernism movement, have played a major role in forming my sensibilities as an architect and an artist; I owe a lot to architects Mies Van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn, Walter Gropius, Oscar Niemeyer, Frank Lloyd Wright, Charles Eames … argh there is too many to name!!!

Noir Ink, my artist alias, pays homage to the drawing that I do as an Architect and Artist. Derived from the French word for Black and the medium that I use for communication and as a creative outlet in the drawing - the pen.
