I've always been an artist. I never wanted to take lessons or classes. I was afraid that my style would be corrupted. I wanted to be entirely original. I wanted my artwork to be me, no matter what the critics may think. After developing my style and becoming confident in who I was as an artist, I finally did take some college art classes, just to study the history and be exposed to "greatness." I'm from NOLA (New Orleans Louisiana). I've lived a hard life. I've slept in the streets. I've spent time in prison. This led me to learning to use any material available, and honing in my drawing capabilities while spending time in the prison cell. After getting out of jail, I went to college. It was the best thing I could have done. I have a 3.92 GPA and I'm more than half way through a degree in Biochemistry. I discovered Society 6 by chance. I hope I can sell a few items to help with my rent as I earn my way to my Undergraduate degree. Love and Peace and Understanding... May the Universe bless you all... Isn't it amazing to be alive?
