Founder and creator of Nuu Design, Naoko Ito, a native Japanese living in New York, started her career as a fashion designer working in NYC for 15 years. During the career, she also opened her vintage boutique in East Village, NYC with her business partner from Argentina. Her inspiration comes from arts from museums like The MET and MoMA, and traveling in Asia, Europe and natures in the USA, and her fashion designer mother who worked in Tokyo in the '60s and '70s. She creates artwork with full of unexpected colors that is unique, whimsical, and one-of-a-kind.
