oleedae.com Originally from South Dakota, Anna Olinger grew up dabbling in any creative medium she could get her hands on. From collecting and painting rocks to sculpting small clay figures, everything had an opportunity to have a personal touch.
Her public high school eliminated the art programs when she was a freshman. Her mother was able to find her private art lessons 45 miles away once a week. She learned under a classical oil painter Paula Habbena for the remainder of high school.
She attended Iowa State University where she studied industrial design with a focus on set design. She found her creative circle there and began to build confidence in her creative voice. After graduating in 2017, Anna is now a full time product designer. She still continues to pursue her own creative endeavors.
Her profession was driven by the objectified public opinion while her personal work became increasingly more intimate. She felt the desire to separate the two completely to free herself from the limitations of the polarizing expectations. Thus, creating Olee Dae.. Hello there!
